W5 Trip
W5 (Who, What, When, Where and Why) is Belfast's interactive discovery museum. Catering for the under 12 crowd, it's all about play and touch and sound. We started off in the START area which is specifically for 3-8s. It was great. There's a musical instrument section- here's Liam making some big noise.
And in heaven- a huge train set.
King of the castle...
Driving his own mini- Liam would have loved to stay here all day.
Doing some fake shopping in Tesco...
We went to the next area, Go, where Liam learned a little about physics and mechanics. He got such a kick out of this parachuting fish.
W5 is in the Odyssey on the banks of the Lagan river. It had great views and you could see the construction happening in the Titanic Quarter (where the Titanic was built- they are regenerating the area with museums, office buildings, housing and restaurants).
We had another action packed day and I was totally and completely exhausted at the end, but it was a lovely date with my little man.

Museum trip
Liam and I are having a few dates before baby arrives. We dropped over to the Ulster Museum last Wednesday to see the dinosaurs and paintings and explore Irish cultural heritage. It was a lovely day, but I was completely exhausted by the end.

I had to put these ones in because they are cute... Liam wanted to look like his daddy so he's wearing a hand towel as a bath towel.
And modelling this new look...
Next time we're heading to W5 (it's like a touch and feel museum).
Coming soon... some pictures of my big ol' bump and an update on this bambino.
